Series History
In a series that began when Upstate joined the Big South ahead of the 2018-19 season, Upstate and Radford are meeting for the seventh time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) Wednesday evening. The Highlanders have taken each of the prior eight meetings in the series, including winning last season's lone meeting in Spartanburg.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Scoring in double-figures in consecutive games for the second time in his career, freshman guard Justin Bailey garnered his second career Big South Freshman of the Week nod. He led Upstate in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game, last week while adding 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. On the season, he ranks third among Spartans in scoring at 9.2 points per game, scoring in double-figures six times.
 
Radford: Averaging 17.0 points per game to open league play, guard DaQuan Smith earned Big South Player of the Week honors for the Highlanders after scoring 14 points against UNC Asheville and a season-high 20 versus Presbyterian. On the season, he leads Radford in scoring at 12.0 points per game while adding 3.5 rebounds per game.
