Series History
USC Upstate and Charleston Southern have a series dating all the way back to 1979 when the Spartans first hosted the Bucs and won 70-50. The Spartans lead the overall series 13-6, with a 7-2 record at home and a 6–4 record on the road while being tied 3-3 in conference play against the Bucs. Upstate went 2-0 against the Bucs this season with a 59-57 win at home in December and a 71-67 road win in February.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Rebekah Gordon led the Spartans in the final game of the regular season with 16 points against Gardner-Webb. Isabella Geraci also contributed 3 points to the Spartans 59 total points. Geraci had her 13th game this season scoring in double figures and for Gordon it was her 15th. Gordon has scored in double-figures in seven of Upstate's last eight games (Presbyterian, Longwood, Winthrop, Charleston Southern, UNC Asheville, Campbell, High Point, Gardner-Webb).
Jeni Levine, Trinity Johnson, Rebekah Gordon, Isabella Geraci and AC Markham started the final regular season game against the Runnin' Bulldogs. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 29 contests for Upstate. Geraci leads the team in minutes played (910), three pointers (31), rebounds (196), and steals (54). Gordon helps lead the offense with 300 points, averaging 10.7 points per game and shooting .372% from the field. Along with Gordon, Geraci (287), Johnson (196), Roldan (119), Markham (178), Jeni Levine (121), and Fray-Chinn (113) all sit with triple digit points on the season.
Charleston Southern:
Zaire Hicks led the Bucs in their offensive efforts against the Blue Hose with a season-high 17 points. Madisone Adamson earned her third double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Bucs went 76.5 % from the free throw line (13-17), had 28 points in the paint and scored 23 points off turnovers.
