SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Coming off a sweep of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry Series and holding a two-game winning streak against regional rivals, USC Upstate women's basketball returns to the G.B. Hodge Center to begin its final and longest Big South Conference homestand of the season as it welcomes Gardner-Webb Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. The homecoming for the Spartans coincides with the university's Homecoming Celebration, kickstarting a full day of Upstate Athletics.

USC Upstate: Taking the reins to lead the Spartans in scoring for the third straight game, junior guard
Jeni Levine continued her torrid Ingles I-26 Rivalry Series as she posted her second 20-plus point and career-high scoring game against UNC Asheville. She finished the night with 24 points behind 9-of-14 shooting, giving her 45 markers scored in two games against the Bulldogs this season. Her effort led to her taking the mantle as the team's leading scorer at 9.3 points per game, upping her scoring average to 11.1 in league play.
Gardner-Webb: The Big South's leading scorer and reigning Big South Player of the Week, senior guard Ashley Hawkins averages 19.2 points per game this season, scoring in double-figures in 14 straight contests. She enters the weekend off successive 28 and 30-point outings, her 10
th and 11
th 20-plus point scoring games of the season. She supplements her scoring with 114 assists and 31 steals.
