Rachel Davis Collects Her Second Big South Field Athlete of the Week Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced the women's outdoor track and field athletes of the week this morning.

Earning her second Big South Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor was Rachel Davis.

At the UNC Asheville Bulldog Invite this past weekend, Davis had three different top-ten finishes. She placed first in the women's shot put with a distance of 13.66m. Davis finished second in both discus and hammer throw, marking distances of 40.25m and 52.38m respectively.

In women's javelin, Davis earned a new personal best with a throw of 25.62m.

The Spartans head to the Peach State for the Georgia Tech Invite, held April 18 through 19.
