Henry Zenor Earns First Career Big South Player of the Week Award Following Four Straight Multi-Hit Games

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Leading all league regulars with .529 batting average and nine hits, USC Upstate baseball's Henry Zenor captured his first career Big South Player of the Week honor as the league announced its weekly honors Monday afternoon.

Zenor, a St. Louis, Mo. native, recorded four straight games last week with multiple hits and at least one RBI, collecting nine hits and six RBI over four games against Charlotte and Longwood. Posted a three-slash line of .529/.619/.706 with three doubles—two of which came for the Spartans against Charlotte.

Earning his fourth career conference weekly honor, Zenor is the 16^th different Spartan to earn Player of the Week honors since Upstate joined the league ahead of the 2018 season, joining Devin Buckner, Troy Hamilton, Jack Hennessy, Koby Kropf, Jason Matthews, Noah Myers, Noah Rabon, Jace Rinehart, Julian Rip, Vance Sheahan, Grant Sherrod, JJ Shimko, Noah Sullivan, Johnny Sweeney, and Wylie Waters.
