2013: Took part in five events…Finished 10th in the “B” race of the UNC Charlotte Invitational where she ran a personal-best time in the 6K of 23:41.50…Posted a personal-best time in the 5K of 20:25.93 at the A-Sun Championships.
2012: Ran in all six meets as a freshman…Had one top-10 finish after placing 10th at the Upstate Invite…Added a 23rd-place performance in her first career meet at the Eye Opener Invitational.
High School: An All-Region and All-District selection at Hidden Valley High School for both cross country and track & field, while receiving All-State nods for outdoor track … Posted a time of 19:20 in the 5K … Crossed the line in 59.87 in the 400-meter, while finishing the 800-meter in 2:20.65.
Personal: Born on Dec. 20, 1993…Parents are Jose and Tracey Torres…Has two sisters, Schyller (20) and Ayshia (10) … Enjoys watching Netflix, hanging out with friends and playing with her cat…Is majoring in criminal justice and minoring in biology…Likes eating steak and crab legs…Says “Beauty and the Beast” is her favorite movie and “Once Upon A Time” her favorite TV show…Summer and fall are her favorite seasons…Her favorite quote is, “’Ohnana’ means family.
