Series History
This is the ninth all-time meeting between USC Upstate and Presbyterian College in USC Upstate's Division I era. Presbyterian has taken the last four straight matchups against the Spartans, most recently on January 25, 2020 in Clinton, S.C.

The two teams met for the first time this season less than two weeks ago when the Blue Hose pulled out a 55-42 win over the Spartans in Clinton. Brianna Lewis led USC Upstate with 15 points. Barrett Herring posted 10 points while she and Riley Popplewell led the Spartans on the glass with eight boards each. Tionna Carter's double-double effort of 15 points and 14 rebounds led the Blue Hose.

Last time out
UPSTATE – The Spartans pushed league leader Campbell to double overtime Saturday afternoon but fell just short 80-72. Brianna Lewis led the Spartans offense with 25 points, and Riley Popplewell posted a 17-point, 17-rebound double-double beside a career-high four blocks.

Presbyterian – Presbyterian is coming off a 65-39 defeat against Radford on Saturday afternoon at home. Trinity Johnson led the Blue Hose with 15 points, with Alessia Capley ahead on the boards with a career-high tying nine rebounds.

Ones to watch
UPSTATE – Riley Popplewell posted her 11th career double-double Saturday afternoon in addition to recording three career-highs and tying a season-high. Her 17-rebound effort ranks her fourth in Big South rebounds per game with 7.5. Brianna Lewis continues to lead the Spartans in scoring with 13.9 points per game. Barrett Herring ranks fourth in Big South blocks with 1.6 per game.

Presbyterian – Trinity Johnson is Presbyterian's leading scoring at 14.0 points per game. She also leads the team in assists with 3.4 per game. Jade Compton averages 5.5 rebounds per game to lead the Blue Hose in boards.
