Jessa Beach Earns Women's Field Athlete of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South announced the track and field athletes of the week this morning. For the second week in a row, USC Upstate has earned women's field athlete of the week honors.

Jessa Beach claimed this week's honor following her performance at the Georgia Tech Invite. In the women's hammer throw, Beach finished fifth with a throw of 56.13m, a distance that puts her first in the conference standings.

The Spartans travel back to the Queen City for the Charlotte Invite April 25-26.
