Upstate Women's Golf Rained Out At El Diablo

Citrus Springs, Fla. - Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, the first two rounds of the EKU/El Diablo Intercollegiate have been canceled. If weather permits, the tournament will be shortened to 18 holes and played Friday morning at the El Diablo Golf & Country Club.
Play was halted with the players playing their first hole this morning and the weather did not allow the players back on the course. If the tournament is able to continue Friday, it will be the second tournament on Upstate's schedule this year that has been shortened to 18 holes. The Spartans played a rain-shortened 18-hole event in the season-opening Great Smokies Intercollegiate.
