Citrus Springs, Fla. - Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday, the EKU/El Diablo Intercollegiate has been canceled.
Upstate traveled to Citrus Springs, Fla., to play in the 54-hole tournament and several players were on the course playing their first hole Thursday morning when thunderstorms hit the area. The rain did not subside and the tournament was washed out.
Upstate will return to Upstate today and, after a quick turnaround, will travel to Rock Hill for the Winthrop University Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
