Women's Tennis Completes Day One of Fall Classic

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – A pair of Spartans moved on to the second round in singles 'A' as Ana-Sofia Camberos and Talia Rojas advanced on Friday.
Camberos advanced in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, while Rojas defeated Emily Rauser of Lenoir-Rhyne in three sets (6-3, 5-7, 7-5).
Camberos and Rojas teamed up to advance to the semifinals of the doubles flight 'B'. The Spartan pair defeated Bollaci/Langmo of Georgia Southern 9-7 before advancing past Robinson/Gomar of Campbell by the same score.
The USC Upstate Fall Classic will resume tomorrow morning with today's winners playing at the Upstate Tennis Complex and the consolation tournament taking place at Wofford College.
