Second Round of JU Classic Washed Out

Jacksonville, Fla. – With teams out on the course early in the round, the second round of the JU Classic at Hidden Hills Country Club was halted due to heavy rain Monday morning and will be completed Tuesday, shortening the tournament from 54 holes to 36.
Upstate entered the second round in sixth place and looked to make strides to improve on its score and position. Players were on the course and had completed between four and six holes before tournament officials made the call to halt the round. The second round will continue at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning with the tournament champion determined after 36 holes.
No scores from Tuesday were reported since the second round was not completed.
