Spartanburg, S.C. - The student-athletes and coaches from the USC Upstate men's soccer team have always been generous with their time outside of their academic and athletic work. In late-September, members of the team traveled across town to serves as soccer mentors in a late-afternoon clinic at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind.
Upstate head coach Greg Hooks, assistant coach Justin Crew and a dozen Spartan players made the short trip across town to help teach the fundamentals of the game to attendees with varying ranges of abilities and skill levels.
