Looking Back at Presbyterian
Upstate scored a goal in each half and took a solid, 2-0, victory over Presbyterian in its home opener at County University Soccer Stadium Wednesday night. The Spartans quickly shook off the rust after not playing for nine days and scored their first goal off the foot of Michael Rankin-Byrne in the first five minutes of the game. The Spartans put the game out of reach after a strong individual effort by Dylan Hoop, who finished his shot in the 60th-minute to give Upstate a 2-0 lead.
