
Spartan Trio to Compete at ITA Carolina Regional

Qualifying Singles Draw | Doubles Draw
Spartanburg, S.C. – Three members of the USC Upstate women's tennis team will compete amongst the top women's tennis players from the states of North Carolina and South Carolina this weekend at the USTA/ITA Carolina Regional Championships from the University of North Carolina's Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
Action begins Thursday morning at 9 a.m. with the qualifying singles bracket and will be followed by the doubles main draw at 2:30 p.m.
USC Upstate senior Taylor Cohen will compete in the qualifying singles bracket and is scheduled to face Katie Fosnacht of South Carolina. Junior Isabel von Stryk will begin competition Friday in the main singles draw. Her match time has yet to be determined.
In doubles, von Stryk and senior Talia Rojas earned a first round bye in the main doubles draw and will face Margaret Boyette and Alex Moreno of Furman Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.

Followed by singles rounds of 32/16
Sunday
Doubles quarterfinals (9 a.m.)
Followed by singles quarterfinals and semifinals
Monday
Doubles semifinals and finals (Order TBD according to players involved)
