
Upstate Begins Long Road Stretch This Week with Games at Furman, PC

Spartanburg, S.C. – After playing three of its first four matches at home, the USC Upstate women's soccer team will begin a six match road stretch that will encompass the rest of the month when it travels to Furman Thursday night at 7:00 and Presbyterian Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in a pair of no-conference games.
Upstate dropped a 4-0 decision to Coastal Carolina last Sunday and stands 1-2-1 on the season. The Spartans will not return home to County University Soccer Stadium until Oct. 4 when they host Kennesaw State in the A-Sun home opener. Furman enters the week with a 1-2-0 record on the year, while Presbyterian stands 0-2-0.
