Spartan Trio to Compete at Wake Forest Invitational

Spartanburg, S.C. – Fresh off a successful home tournament in its last outing, the USC Upstate women's tennis continues its fall schedule this weekend when the Spartans travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., to take part in the Wake Forest Invitational from the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
Spartans Isabel von Stryk, Anna Zoske and Nona Ruppert will compete in the event that is scheduled to begin Friday at 9 a.m. Friday will feature two rounds of doubles and one round of singles, while one round of doubles, one round of singles and the semifinals singles matches in the main draw are slated for Saturday.
Sunday will feature one round of doubles and one round of singles, which includes the championship matches.
Earlier this fall, von Stryk finished in fourth place of the A-1 singles bracket at the Elon Invitational before taking first place in the black back draw at the USC Upstate Fall Classic. She also took first place in the white doubles draw with Zoske at the USC Upstate Fall Classic after the duo went 3-0 over the course of the tournament.
Ruppert took runner-up honors in the singles white back draw at the USC Upstate Fall Classic.
