
Zoske, von Stryk Advance at Upstate Fall Classic

Spartanburg, S.C. – Anna Zoske and Isabel von Stryk both went undefeated Friday to lead the USC Upstate women's tennis team on the opening day of the USC Upstate Fall Classic from the USC Upstate Tennis Complex.
Zoske opened her afternoon with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Catherin White of Gardner-Webb to advance into the quarterfinals of the singles green draw. She is slated to face third-seeded Christine Boissevain of UNC Asheville Saturday at 9 a.m.
In doubles play, Zoske and von Stryk turned in an 8-1 win over Ericka Rivero and Hunter Hall of UNC Asheville in the doubles white draw. The duo advanced to the quarterfinals and will take on No. 3 seed Greer Ransom and Claire-Mitchell Andrews of Presbyterian on Saturday.
Von Stryk will play her first singles match of the tournament Saturday when she takes on Jayde Viccars of ETSU in the black draw.
