
USC Upstate Athletics Mourns the Loss of Four Student-Athletes

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate Athletics Department is mourning the loss of four student-athletes following a tragic car accident Sunday morning in Spartanburg County.
Services for Josh Lee will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Cowpens, officiated by Dr. William Westafer. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the home, 725 Bethesda Rd, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302.
In remembrance of Josh, memorials may be made to USC Upstate Foundation, c/o Cross Country Team, 800 University Way, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
Services for James Campbell will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brookwood Church, 580 Brookwood Point Place, Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.
Funeral services for Mills Sproull will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18 at The Church of the Highlands Chapel, 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, Ala., 35210.
The family asks that all please dress in casual attire. Soccer attire is perfect, they said.
After the service, an unorganized soccer game will commence at 4:00 p.m. for the kids and visitors in the stands for the parents and in honor of Mills. The soccer game will be at Oak Mountain High school behind the school, 5476 Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham, Ala., 35242
Services for Sarah Vande Berg will be held on Monday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at New Walk Church in her hometown of Zephyrhills, Fla.
