
Spartans Stay in Town this Week for Terrier Intercollegiate

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's golf team will make the short trip to the par 72, 6,012-yard Country Club of Spartanburg Monday for the 11-team Terrier Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford.
Upstate is one of 11 teams competing at the two-day tournament along with Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, The Citadel, Converse, Gardner-Webb, Kennesaw State, Longwood, Presbyterian College, Winthrop and Wofford.
The Terrier Intercollegiate will consist of 18 holes each on Monday and Tuesday, with tee times taking place at 10 a.m. Monday morning and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Spartans are back on the course for the second straight week after traveling to Clarksville, Tenn. Oct. 12-13 for the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate. Upstate turned in a sixth place performance as a team led individually by Payton Culler who finished in a tie for 14th place.

The Spartans close out their fall season Oct. 24-25 at the Winthrop Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C.
