Upstate-Lipscomb Sunday Softball Canceled

Spartanburg, S.C. – The final game of the A-Sun softball series scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been canceled due to the rain that has already fallen and that is expected for the remainder of the day in the Spartanburg area.
Upstate (36-8, 15-2) and Lipscomb (23-23, 8-6) split is doubleheader Saturday. The third game of the series will not be made up. The Spartans will return to action Wednesday for a non-conference doubleheader against Charlotte at 3 p.m. at Cyrill Stadium before closing out the regular season Saturday and Sunday against A-Sun foe Northern Kentucky.
