
Upstate Starts Fall Season Monday at Jacksonville Classic

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's golf team begins its 2015 fall season on Monday as part of the 14-team Jacksonville Classic held at the par 72, 5,967-yard Marsh Landing Country Club.
Payton Culler, Allea Hawkins, Malika Allie, Sidney Dermody and Allie Gennaula are scheduled to compete for the Spartans.
Upstate is one of 14 teams taking part in the two-day tournament along with: Jacksonville, Daytona State, Embry Riddle, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia State, Houston Baptist, North Florida, Rollins, Seminole State, Stetson, Western Carolina and Wofford.
Tournament play begins Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start as the Spartans will play 36 holes. The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The Spartans head to Clarksville, Tenn. Oct. 12-13 for the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate.
