
Spartans Make Final Road Trip of Season to Lipscomb

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's soccer team travels to Lipscomb this Saturday for the final road game of the 2016 season. The Spartans and Bisons will play at 6 p.m. Eastern time from the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
Upstate is 0-12-3 following a 0-0 tie against Jacksonville on Friday night and a 4-3 overtime loss to North Florida on Sunday. In Sunday's loss, Maddie Little, Leah Tyson and Jada Kinlaw each scored their first collegiate goal for Upstate, who held a 3-2 lead late after trailing 2-0.
Brooke Bailey leads the NCAA and ASUN this season with 107 saves. Bailey is also eighth nationally with 7.13 saves per game.
Lipscomb enters the match with a 9-4-2 overall record and a 3-1-1 mark in league play after a Friday night loss to Stetson and a 2-2 tie against FGCU on Sunday afternoon. The Bisons lead the all-time series 6-3 following a 2-1 win in Nashville last year.
