Women's Tennis Faces Coastal Carolina on Friday

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team continues its Spring Break roadtrip on Friday, facing Coastal Carolina at 11 a.m.
Upstate is 0-12 after losses to College of Charleston on Tuesday and Charleston Southern on Wednesday.
Coastal Carolina is 9-2 following a 7-0 victory over South Carolina State on Thursday. The Spartans and Chanticleers were originally scheduled to face each other on Valentine's Day but freezing cold temperatures forced the match to be postponed.
Friday will be the seventh all-time meeting between Coastal Carolina and Upstate. Coastal Carolina leads the all-time series against Upstate 5-1, including a 6-1 Coastal Carolina victory last January. Upstate's lone victory in the series came at the USC Upstate Tennis Complex in 2013.
The Spartans return to the USC Upstate Tennis Complex on Monday, facing Presbyterian at 3 p.m.
