Women's Tennis Takes on FGCU

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team will make its lone trip of the season to the Sunshine State as the Spartans face FGCU on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Fort Myers, Fla.
Upstate is 0-16 following a 6-1 home loss to Presbyterian on Tuesday. The Spartans lost their first two A-Sun matches to Stetson and North Florida last week.
FGCU is 9-7 overall and 3-0 in league play after a 7-0 home win over NJIT on Thursday evening. The Eagles are 5-5 at home this season.
Upstate leads the all-time series 5-3 but has lost the last two matches to FGCU.
The Spartans continue conference action next week, traveling to Lipscomb on Thursday before hosting Kennesaw State on Saturday.
