Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate men's soccer team will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Tuesday night as the Spartans travel to crosstown rival Wofford for a 7 p.m. contest. The match at Snyder Field is the final non-conference road game of the 2016 season.
Upstate enters with a 2-3 record following a 4-2 home loss to High Point on Saturday evening. Calon Minors and Hamilton Gmah contributed one assist each, while Santiago Restrepo finished with a career-high four saves in goal.
Wofford currently sits at 4-2 on the season following a 2-1 victory over Bucknell on Sept. 11. The Terriers also have wins over Presbyterian College, Davidson and Gardner-Webb, and losses coming against Winthrop and Duquesne. Wofford is led by ninth-year head coach Ralph Polson.
