
Paksanont Earns Second Consecutive ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week Honor

LakePoint, Ga. – For the second straight week, Pan Paksanont is the ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week following her performance earlier this week leading the USC Upstate women's golf team at the Terrier Intercollegiate, the conference announced this afternoon.
For Paksanont, it is the second ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week accolade in her career.
The Nonthaburi, Thailand native recorded her third consecutive top-5 performance to lead Upstate to a fourth place finish at the Terrier Intercollegiate, its final tournament of the fall season. Paksanont placed in a tie for second after shooting rounds of 77 and 67 to finish at 144 for the tournament. She tied her own school record, as well as career-low score, with the final round 67 which she set last week at the FAU Fall Invitational.
Paksanont was the top performer for the Spartans in par 3 scoring, par 4 scoring, par 5 scoring and birdies. The sophomore finished tied for third at the tournament in par 3 scoring with a 2.88 stroke average and par 5 scoring with a 3-under par 4.62 stroke average, and tied for sixth in par 4 scoring with a 4.20 stroke average. She also tallied eight birdies.
