
Paksanont Ranks among Top Golfers Nationally during the Fall

Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate sophomore Pan Paksanont finished her fall season as one of the top women's golfers throughout the country in the latest Golfstat individual rankings that were recently released by the website.
Paksanont, a native of Nonthaburi, Thailand, led Upstate during four fall tournaments with a 73.20 stroke average and played in all 10 rounds. She recorded three straight top-5 finishes including a career-best tie for second at the Terrier Intercollegiate. A two-time ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week, Paksanont set a new school record for lowest round with her scores of 67 at both the FAU Fall Invitational and Terrier Intercollegiate.
In the latest Golfstat rankings, Paksanont ranks in the top-250 nationally out of over 2,000 golfers in average score, compared to par, low round, first round scoring average, last round scoring average, par 3 scoring, par 4 scoring and other scores per round. She is tied for first nationally in other scores per round at .00. Paksanont ranks 55th in par 3 scoring, 68th in low round, 93rd in last round average, 149th in compared to par, 174th in average score, 213th in par 4 scoring and 250th in first round scoring average.
For her career, Paksanont has appeared in 35 rounds and compiled a 75.60 stroke average.
