Spartans Host Lipscomb on Saturday

Spartanburg, S.C. – After opening ASUN Conference play on Wednesday, the USC Upstate women's tennis team welcomes Lipscomb to the USC Upstate Tennis Complex on Saturday at 11 a.m. for the first home conference match of 2017.
The Spartans are 2-14 overall and 0-1 after losing 5-2 at Kennesaw State on Wednesday. Carol Sigaki and Morgan Dodd each claimed wins at No. 2 and No. 6 singles. Dodd has won her last three singles matches playing on the No. 6 court.
Lipscomb is 4-13 overall and 0-1 in league play following a 6-1 loss at NJIT on Thursday. The Lady Bisons have wins over Belmont, Appalachian State, Arkansas State and Missouri State.
The Spartans lead the all-time series with Lipscomb 5-4.
Upstate remains at home as the Spartans face Florida Gulf Coast at 2 p.m. Thursday.
