Spartan Golf Classic moved to October 9 due to weather

The Spartan Golf Classic presented by Capital Corporation slated for today, Friday, August 21 at Woodfin Ridge Golf Club in Inman has been postponed due to inclement weather. USC Upstate and Woodfin Ridge have already agreed on a rain make-up date of Friday, October 9.

The event, now slated for October 9, will carry the same format with tee times to keep participants socially distant. Participants will be able to keep the same tee times they were scheduled for today.

The Spartan Golf Classic, now in its 19^th year, is a major fundraising event for the USC Upstate U Club to support Spartan student-athletes.
