#SpartysAuction is underway!

Two signature annual events that have helped create transformational opportunities for USC Upstate student-athletes are joining forces this year in response to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The USC Upstate Athletic Department and U Club, the athletic scholarship fundraising arm of the USC Upstate Foundation, has launched #SpartysAuction which continues through the playing of the Spartan Golf Classic presented by Capital Corporation on Friday, Aug. 21. Proceeds from the events will support USC Upstate student-athletes in their pursuit of a top-tier education and competitive success.

#SpartysAuction, the first digital version of this popular annual event features over 80 items ranging from exceptional autographed sports memorabilia (jerseys include Christian McCaffrey, Zion Williamson, Deshaun Watson, Dominique Wilkins and more), unique trips and experiences, Upstate branded items, summer camp opportunities and much more.

Spartan Golf Classic presented by Capital Corporation - Friday, August 21

Join USC Upstate coaches and administrators for the 19th annual Spartan Golf Classic on Friday, Aug. 21, at the Woodfin Ridge Golf Club, 215 S. Woodfin Ridge Drive, Inman, S.C. USC Upstate and Woodfin Ridge have implemented several operational safeguards to keep participants safe and socially distant amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here's what you need to know:

In lieu of a traditional shotgun start at 1 p.m., teams or individuals will now be allowed to choose a specific tee time spaced over two to three hours beginning at 11:30 a.m. This is to limit gatherings to 10 or fewer players at any one time. Specific times will also be assigned for the driving range and putting green.
Those who may be teaching school-age children virtually or are in need of special accommodations for a tee time may do so by contacting Caleb Poore at 864-503-5144 prior to online registration.
