SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Making her third start of the season and posting her second complete match in goal, junior goalkeeper
Haylee Grudzien collected a career-high save total as USC Upstate women's soccer hosted Campbell in the team's penultimate match of the season.
With 14 saves, Grudzien bested her 10 saves against The Citadel in the season-opener as she's posted double-digit saves in each of her complete matches in 2021. In reaching 14 saves, she tallied nine saves in the second half, the most saves she's recorded in a half in her career.
Despite Grudzien's career-high save total, Upstate ultimately dropped Saturday's match as Campbell scored in each half for a 2-0 victory.
