Save Lives and Support the Spartans February 13

SPARTANBURG, SC -- The Blood Connection, in partnership with USC Upstate Athletics and the Big South Conference, will host the second in a series of blood drive donation events on the USC Upstate campus throughout the spring semester Monday, February 13. The Blood Connection (TBC) donation drive will be held in the Campus Life Center (CLC) Ballroom (Room 310) from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Click here to register for the February 13 blood drive. To regulate the number of attendees and staffing for The Blood Connection at any one time, you are asked to pre-register.
As part of a partnership with the Big South Conference, for every blood donation made at the drive held on February 13, not only will the blood donor receive a $10 E-Gift Card instantly plus an additional $30 eGift card 1-2 business days post donation, PLUS The Blood Connection will also make a $10 donation to the USC Upstate Athletics Scholarship Fund.Â
The Big South Conference announced in December that league members will be participating in a yearlong competition to see which school generates the most donations at these specific TBC on-campus events. With your support USC Upstate has the opportunity to gain additional donations to the athletics general scholarship fund up to $10,000 should Upstate collect the most donations through the end of the academic year.
