Support the Spartans and Miracle Hill Ministries in the Ingles I-26 Rivalry Food Drive

UPDATE: Make your donations of 3 or more canned or non-perishable food items at the home basketball games on Feb. 3, 7 and 10 and be entered to win USC Upstate gear, gift cards and other prizes! Stop by the Ingles Marketing Tent in the lobby of the Hodge for more details. 

SPARTANBURG, SC – As the college athletics year has reached the halfway point on calendar, the race in the Ingles I-26 Rivalry series between USC Upstate and UNC Asheville is heating up! Through the first 8 contests between the two schools, Asheville holds a 15-9 lead in the series.

Much is still to be decided however with 10 competition events remaining this spring AND four opportunities for bonus points to be awarded.

The #SpartanArmy has the opportunity to help USC Upstate score three bonus points by helping raise more canned and non-perishable food items than Bulldog fans from now through February 10th! All donations from USC Upstate's portion of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry Food Drive will support Miracle Hill Ministries in Spartanburg. Miracle Hill will be at the Hodge Center with a display in the lobby for the February 3rd men's basketball game.

Each school is hosting canned and non-perishable food donation events at home basketball games through February 10 AND fans also have five Ingles locations where donations are accepted as well!

Donation boxes at the selected Ingles locations (listed below) will be near the store entrance doors beginning Friday, January 26.  Special thanks to Workhorse Moving and Storage for donation of the collection bins.

With each donation, fans will have the opportunity to score two FREE tickets to a future USC Upstate basketball game while Upstate students who make donations will be able to score other incentives at the Hodge Center.

Make your generous donations at these six locations through February 10 and let's beat hunger AND the Bulldogs together!
