Men's Soccer Falls to #3 Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – Upstate Men's Soccer was on the road again, this time taking on #3 Clemson. The Spartans battled against the Tigers, but ultimately fell short with a final score of 6-0.
The Spartans claimed the first shot of the match just two minutes into play from Elijah Jackson. Dario Stadler followed suit eight seconds later. Upstate stuck with Clemson during the first half, allowing the Tigers to find the back of the net just once in the ninth minute of play. Dario Stadler and Adrian Panaite led in shots with two each. Liam Duggan was the only Spartan to put up a shot on goal.
Out of the halftime break, Clemson found their rhythm. Goalkeeper Cooper Jennings had a strong performance in goal tonight. He faced a new season high in shots with 25, finishing the night with six saves. This moves his total number of saves this season to 60.
