Parking and Ticketing Information for USC Upstate Homecoming February 17

SPARTANBURG, SC -- USC Upstate will celebrate Homecoming 2024 the week of February 12 through 17 with events planned all week long across the campus.
The full list of Homecoming Week events may be found here, with athletic events featured throughout the week on Sunday (softball), Wednesday (women's basketball), Friday (baseball) and Saturday (men's and women's basketball and baseball).

Of particular note, fans will note changes planned for parking and ticketing for the basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 17.
  1. All University Lots adjacent to the Hodge Center, Library, Stockwell Administration and Campus Life Center will be paid parking lots on Saturday, February 17. 
  2. Parking pricing is $10 per car.

    1. Lots that will convert to paid lots on Saturday, February 17 are FS3, FS8, FS11, O11, C8, C3, C2, FS9, C9, FS2, FS1, C1, C10, O12, O13 and C11.
  4. Only patrons issued a HOMECOMING parking pass by a member of the University staff will not be charged for parking.
  5. To avoid lines at the Hodge Center for both games, pre-purchase of game tickets and reserving student tickets in advance is highly recommended. For purchase, click here.  USC Upstate students should reserve tickets through the student ticket portal.
The Homecoming Tailgate will take place in front of the Hodge Center adjacent to the Quad and close parking lot FS10 and half of C11.  The tailgate is scheduled to run from Noon to 4:00 pm.  Restrooms in the Hodge Center are ONLY available for basketball game ticket holders, portable restrooms will be available in the Homecoming Tailgate area.
 
USC Upstate Race to Zero Waste
Volunteers from USC Upstate's Race to Zero Waste initiative will be at Harley Park on Friday, February 16 and inside the Hodge Center for both games of the basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 17 sorting waste generated at those events. 
Campus Race to Zero Waste (CR2ZW) is an annual 8-week competition that challenges universities across the United States and Canada to collect the largest volume (weight) of recyclable materials and the goals of the competition are to benchmark USC Upstate's waste minimization and recycling efforts against other campuses and to generate attention and support for expanding zero waste and recycling programs.
Be on the lookout for those volunteers and help USC Upstate's Race to Zero Waste campaign!
 
Spartan Hoops doubleheader vs. Gardner-Webb
At halftime of the women's basketball game slated to begin at 2:00 pm, Chancellor Dr. Bennie Harris will crown the Spirit of Upstate awards and at halftime of the men's basketball game slated to begin at 4:35 pm, the USC Upstate cheerleading team will perform followed by a proclamation designating USC Upstate as a stigma free campus in partnership with Walt's Waltz.  For more on basketball gameday, check @UpstateWBB on X and Instagram and @UpstateMBB on X and @Upstate_MBB on Instagram.
