Players to watch

USC Upstate: Junior Guard, Mason Bendinger has shined through his last two appearances at the G.B. Hodge Center and continues to prove why he was worth taking a chance from Salt Lake Community College (Utah). Bendinger's last two appearances at the Hodge saw him add a 21-point performance against Tennessee Tech and 19 points in win against NC Central. Bendinger leads Upstate with 15.0 points per game shooting 51 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc. Head Coach, Marty Richter described Bendinger as more of an old school "Bonzi Wells" type of physical scorer that can get a bucket anytime he wants. Bendinger will look to continue his scoring approach as the Spartans return to the Hodge for a Wednesday night matchup.

Coastal Carolina: Junior Guard, Joshua Beadle leads the Chantilcleers with 14.9 points per game while shooting 42 percent from the field and 37 percent from three. Beadle has added three 20+ point performances against Western Michigan, Winthrop and Jacksonville State. Aside from his will to score, Joshua Beadle adds 3.1 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 1.3 steals on the other side of the ball. The Spartans will look to slow down the two-way play of Beadle Wednesday night.

Up next for the Spartans
