SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate women's soccer head coach Sharif Saber has announced the schedule for the 2025 season. This comes after a historic 2024 campaign, which saw the program win its first Big South Regular Season and Tournament Championship titles, along with the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

Coach Saber said, "The 2025 schedule is built to challenge and prepare us for the moments that matter most. Every match is a chance to grow, compete, and proudly represent USC Upstate. We're focused on taking it one game at a time, staying present, and making every moment count."

Upstate begins the season with two exhibition matchups, competing against Elon at home on August 3. The second and final exhibition game will be played on August 10 in the Queen City against Charlotte.

The Spartans' regular season opens with two road games, the first against Wofford on August 14, followed by Davidson on August 17.

Remaining on the road, Upstate travels to the Bluegrass State for matchups against Eastern Kentucky August 21 and the University of Louisville on August 28.

The home opener for the Spartans is set for August 31 versus Queens. Remaining at County University Soccer Stadium, Upstate takes on Furman September 4.

Wrapping up non-conference play, Upstate travels north to take on VMI September 7, followed by Wake Forest September 14.

Conference play begins on the road September 20 against Winthrop, followed by a home match against High Point September 24.

Continuing conference play into October, Upstate remains at home, competing against Charleston Southern on the first, followed by a road match at Radford October 4.

A home contest against Longwood takes place on October 11, followed by the short trip down to Clinton to face the Presbyterian Blue Hose on October 15^th.

Finishing out regular season play, the Spartans are home for consecutive games, facing Gardner-Webb on October 18 and pausing conference play to face South Carolina State on October 25.
The last regular season game is a road trip to UNC Asheville on October 29.

The Big South Women's Soccer tournament is set to begin on November 1, with the championship final match held on November 9.
