Men’s Basketball announces Miles Webb as the next piece to the 2026-27 Signing Class

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Head Coach, Marty Richter announced Miles Webb to the 2026-27 signing class for USC Upstate Men's Basketball ahead of the new campaign. Webb transfers from Delaware State where he appeared in 25 games and started in 20.
Webb was second on the Hornets in scoring averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 57 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. Standing at 6'8, Webb was the leading rebounder with 5.7 a game along with averaging a block a game. Miles Webb had a season high of 21 points against UMES on March 5, 2026, and displayed a game of two-way effort of 18 points, 12 rebounds and steals against Morgan State at the MEAC Tournament in a win against Morgan State. Miles Webb secured two MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors on December 8, 2025, and January 12, 2026. Prior to Delaware State, Webb spent three seasons at Saint Francis appearing in 63 games and starting in 11, having his highest scoring outing of 19 points against Sacred Heart on January 25, 2024. During his time as a standout student-athlete at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes was looked at a highly scouted prospect with many Division I offers through his years.
Head Coach, Marty Richter expressed his excitement for the addition of Webb mentioning, "Miles has the size and length that allows him to guard and rebound his position very well. We're confident that his impact is going to be felt on both sides of the ball during the whole season ahead. The Upstate community is going to really enjoy having him on campus and witnessing his growth throughout his senior season with us."
Miles Webb looks to bring his intensity to the program as he reports in the summer and help Upstate take the next step as the new chapter begins. Webb looks to bring his experience to the lineup and make his presence known at Upstate and the Big South.
