Dixon named to WGCA All-American Scholar Team

Spartanburg, S.C. – For the second time in her USC Upstate career, Madison Dixon has been named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team. The WGCA bestowed this prestigious honor on 1,551 women's collegiate golfers this year.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players.

To be selected, a student-athlete must:

Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

Dixon was named to the WGCA All-American Scholar in 2023-24 becoming one of just three Spartans to be recognized twice. This year, Dixon held a 3.75 fall GPA and a 3.786 spring GPA while competing in 32 rounds over 12 tournaments. For her Upstate career, Dixon maintains a 3.532 GPA as she enters her senior year.
