USC Upstate set for fourth annual Spartan Takeover Day on Fox Sports Spartanburg 98.3 FM

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate Athletics and Fox Sports Spartanburg 98.3 FM are teaming up for a fourth consecutive year to provide the Spartan Army with the most complete preseason coverage of all athletic programs as part of "Spartan Takeover Day" on Wednesday, July 29.
This mid-summer tradition gives fans an opportunity to get updates directly from every USC Upstate head coach as well as Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Matt Martin hosted by Ryan Clary, Joe Skinner and the team from Fox Sports 98.3 FM.
Now in its fourth year as the flagship home of USC Upstate Athletics, Fox Sports Spartanburg produces more than 70 live events annually. Â The partnership with Fox Sports Spartanburg provides unmatched exposure for Spartan programs across the Big South Conference. Â Fox Sports Spartanburg is available on 98.3 FM, 1400 AM in Spartanburg, online via the Fox Sports Spartanburg app (available on the Apple Store and Google Play) and by clicking the "Listen Live" icon. Live audio is also available at SpartanburgSportsRadio.com or by searching WSPG-AM on the TuneIn Radio app.
New this year, the Takeover Day will include a half-hour block from Noon to 12:30 p.m. to bridge a full day of coverage beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 6:00 pm.
From 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. fans are encouraged to meet and greet with USC Upstate coaches and staff at Rockers Brewing Co. (226 W. Main St., Spartanburg) where the station hosts a live remote.Â
