SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Head coach Todd Lawton reveals the USC Upstate Women's Golf schedule for Fall 2026. With the return of seniors Madison Dixon and Supatta Puttanavarat, the squad prepares for a strong slate in the fall season.
Â
Lawton has high expectations for his squad this season, "Our schedule is a good mix with high-level competition. Hosting twice in the fall is a lot of work, but worth it because it gives us an opportunity to play a lot of players and see what we are capable of competitively, especially after our successful spring. Our mix of new faces and experienced Spartans will give us the opportunity to compete across the board."
Â
Beginning the season for the second year in a row, the Spartans will participate in the Tiger Classic on August 24th, in Clemson, S.C. Â Shortly after, Upstate will travel to the lower part of the state to Pawleys Island, S.C., to take place in the Golfweek Fall Challenge from September 6-8.
Â
The Spartans will then travel to Burlington, N.C. to play in the Elon Invitational, from September 14-15. About a month later, October 12-13, the team will play Columbus, G.A., in the Haskins Award Invitational.
Â
For the final two tournaments of the fall season, USC Upstate will play host in both of them. Firstly, from September 27-28, the Spartans will host The Carolina Cup at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg. The Spartans will close out the fall campaign in Fripp Island, S.C., hosting the Fripp Island Intercollegiate from October 23-25.
