USC Upstate Announces Apparel Extension with NIKE, BSN SPORTS

USC Upstate and Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Matt Martin have announced a multi-year extension of the department's apparel agreement with NIKE and BSN SPORTS. The extension builds on the 2022 agreement and continues a relationship that has outfitted Spartan student-athletes, coaches and staff.
Under the renewed agreement, NIKE and BSN SPORTS will continue to service the USC Upstate account and support more than 350 student-athletes across the department. The partnership will continue to offer coaches and staff exclusive pricing and incentives and strengthen the resources available to Spartan Athletics.
"USC Upstate is an emerging brand, and we had tremendous interest from apparel providers during this negotiation period, which I think shows the respect and growth we have as an institution and department," said Martin. "Aligning ourselves with a worldwide brand such as NIKE and BSN SPORTS positions us for the next phase of growth for the Spartans."
The Spartans originally aligned with NIKE and BSN SPORTS in July 2017, and this extension reflects continued confidence in USC Upstate Athletics' direction. As the department continues to build momentum across competition, branding and the student-athlete experience, this agreement helps provide a strong foundation for future success.
"The USC Upstate athletics program has experienced remarkable growth over recent seasons, and we're excited to partner with NIKE to support its continued success," said Erika Whyte, Senior Director of BSN SPORTS' Collegiate Select division. In addition to serving the athletics department, the BSN SPORTS partnership also creates opportunities for other University departments and non-athletic programs to join the larger Spartan team and benefit from BSN SPORTS' broad product offerings and service network.
