About the USC Upstate Men's Soccer Developmental Team:
The announcement of the Development team will be an opportunity for student-athletes to develop their skills while gaining collegiate experience. The program will plan to support the student-athletes academically along with their pursuit to becoming a better player. Fall 2025 will be the debut of Developmental Soccer for the men’s program taking on teams in NCAA Division I, Division II, and on the NAIA level. The addition of the developmental team will bring more exposure to student-athletes competing on the collegiate level followed by committing to the vision of USC Upstate Athletics during the 2025-26 academic year.
The developmental team will have the same recipe of training, discipline, and competitive edge as the varsity program along with access to the athletic training staff, facilities, coaching staff, academics, and help from the strength and conditioning programs.
