2018 (Senior): Started 13 of the 15 games he played in during his senior season. Had 6 goals on the season, with 2 of those being game winners against both UNC Asheville on Aug. 31st and at Winthrop on Sep. 25th. 2 assists over the course of the year. 1 of Philpot’s assists came during the 3-0 win over Presbyterian College on Oct. 13th.  40 shots with 23 on goal. Led the team in points (14), goals (6), shots (40), and shots on goal (23).

2016 (Sophomore):  Started in all 13 games and played in 1,009 minutes at the midfielder position…Was fifth on the team with three points on one goal and one assist…Led the team with 28 shots and 17 shots on-goal…Scored one game-winning goal…Finished ninth in the ASUN in shots on-goal…Registered a goal in his first game as a Spartan, a 1-0 win over Presbyterian College…Dished out an assist in conference play at Lipscomb…Attempted a season-high seven shots at Stetson.

Prior to Upstate:  Played both soccer and tennis at the University of the Cumberlands…Played in 20 matches with 19 starts and led the team with 37 points on 13 goals and 11 assists…Scored three game-winning goals…Led the team in points and assists, and was second in goals…Was named the Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year and First Team All-Conference.

High School/Club:  Attended Auckland Grammar School where he lettered in both soccer and tennis…As a senior, scored 21 goals in 24 matches played…Named Young Sportsman of the Year…Played club soccer for Three Kings and Waitakere United…Scored six goals for Three Kings in 2015, and registered three goals and nine assists in 12 matches for Waitakere United.

Personal:  Born on February 18, 1997…Parents are Rod Philpot and Deb Pearson…Has one sister, Jess (17), and one brother, James (15)…Is majoring in business administration.
