Brent Morris joined the USC Upstate athletic department on June 2022 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Morris served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Liberty University from January to November 2021 working with six of the Flames' programs helping student-athletes return to form and excel following the COVID-19 pandemic. Following Liberty, where he earned his Master's in Sports Performance, Morris served at Amherst County High School (Va.) as an assistant varsity soccer coach and sports performance coach.
Prior to his time at Liberty, Morris spent three years in personal sports training and performance at D1Sports Training, Forge-Rx and Core Physique GA in various locations in suburban Atlanta. Within that time, Morris worked with Devin Vassell who would be selected 11th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Morris graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2016 and immediately spent the following 15 months as a strength and conditioning intern with the University of Georgia football program.
A native of Forsyth County, Ga., Morris is certified by SCCC-CSCCA and a member of the NHSSCA.
