Toni Brem

Coach Toni Brem enters her second year as an assistant coach for USC Upstate in the 2025 season.

In her first season as a graduate assistant for the Spartans, Brem helped contribute to the historic 2024 season. Assisting Saber and Laudenslager, she helped the Spartans reach a 10-5-4 overall record and a 5-1-2 conference record. Bringing her wealth of knowledge as a championship player under Saber, she helped the team win both the regular season title and the Big South Championship, making their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Brem also received coaching staff of the year honors.

Brem brings a wealth of experience and a strong connection to the program, reuniting with head coach Sharif Saber. Saber previously coached Brem as a student-athlete at the University of Mount Olive, where she played as a defender for the Trojans over five successful seasons. Additionally, she played for Saber while at the Penn Fusion Soccer Academy.

During her tenure at Mount Olive, Brem was a standout player. She was a three-time member of the All-Academic Team, served as team captain, and contributed to three Conference Carolinas championships. Her leadership on and off the field significantly impacted the program.

A native of West Chester, PA, Brem has spent the last few years working as an intern for Mount Olive's strength and conditioning program, coordinating daily workouts for Trojan student-athletes. At USC Upstate, part of her responsibilities will include working with Spartan Sports Performance coaches for team workouts. Additionally, Brem holds a minor in coaching and plans to pursue a graduate degree in exercise and sport science.
