Brianne Jones is in her 9th year as an Athletic Trainer, and her 1st year as an Athletic Trainer in the sports medicine department at USC Upstate. Her primary sport responsibilities are with coverage of Women’s Basketball and Men's and Women's Golf.
Jones comes to Upstate after spending 6 years at Limestone University. During her tenure at Limestone, she provided care for a variety of teams including Acrobatics and Tumbling, Men's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Cheerleading, Men's Wrestling, Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, Women's Golf and helping cover/treatments of the other sports at Limestone as well. She has helped a variety of teams appear in the National Tournament for their sport. She also received the Limestone Support Staff of the Year Award for 2022-2023. While she was there, she helped develop the Mental Health and Concussion programs still being used.
Prior to her time at Limestone, Jones completed her Master's degree at East Tennessee State University in Kinesiology and Sports Studies with a Concentration in Sports Management. During her time with the Buccaneers, Jones worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the women's soccer and softball teams.
Jones graduated from Limestone in 2015 with her Bachelor's in Athletic Training with minors in Biology and Coaching. Jones was a four-year member of the Limestone women's swim team. As an undergraduate student she worked with several of the teams at Limestone as well as doing an internship at Boiling Springs High School.
She lives in Gaffney with her fiancé Chad and her dog Sawyer.
