Brooks Leger

Brooks Leger re-joined the #SpartanArmy in January 2026 as assistant athletic director for marketing and fan experience.  In his new role, Leger will be lead the Spartans in-venue fan experience efforts as well as marketing efforts as well as taking an active role in revenue generation efforts in ticketing and corporate partnerships.  Leger comes back to USC Upstate from the South Atlantic Conference where he served as assistant commissioner for video and digital strategy. 

This is a homecoming for Leger as he first served at USC Upstate beginning in January 2023 as Director of Video Services, eventually being promoted a year later to Assistant AD for Video Services. In addition to being the primary point person for creative video and broadcast production for ESPN+ broadcasts, he also led the department's digital strategy during this time.

Leger comes to the #SpartanArmy from Texas Tech University where he served as Director of Creative Services for the past year.  While in Lubbock, Leger oversaw the day-to-day operations for creative content for all Red Raiders programs including video inventory, scheduling, project requests, equipment inventory and oversight of student workers and freelance employees. As part of the creative services duties he developed graphics, videos, print material and motion design for social media, print, ESPN+ features and special events.   He worked with a complete cross section of the TTU department including coaching staffs, the Red Raider Club, Double T Varsity Club, communications and broadcasting.
 
Prior to Texas Tech, Leger spent five years serving at his alma mater of Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C. as Coordinator of Marketing and Creative Media.  While with the Crusaders he created the marketing strategy for the department while developing leadership in the department’s overall digital strategy.  Leger created social media campaigns, graphics and oversaw photography, video (creative and live streaming) in addition to forging local business partnerships for the department.
 
Since 2018, he has also worked with Bleacher Report as a content moderator analyzing and overseeing the social media content posted and interactions for the BR app.
 
Leger also served as a sports information graduate assistant at William Paterson University (N. J.) from 2014-16.
 
A former baseball student-athlete at Belmont Abbey, Leger received his B.A. in Sport Management with a minor in business from Belmont Abbey in 2014 and earned his MBA in Business Administration and Management from William Paterson in 2016.  Brooks and his wife Aimee will reside in Spartanburg.
