- Athletic Training Resident
Miah Lemanski joined the USC Upstate sports medicine staff in June 2026 as an athletic training resident through Spartanburg Regional Medical Center’s Sports Medicine Athletic Training Residency Program. She works primarily with the Spartans’ men’s soccer and women’s flag football programs.
Lemanski earned both her Master of Science in Athletic Training and Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She completed her master’s degree with a 4.0 GPA after earning highest honors as an undergraduate.
During her time at UW-La Crosse, Lemanski gained clinical experience working with several collegiate programs, including baseball, softball, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and track and field. She also completed athletic training rotations at Viterbo University, Logan High School, the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Clinic and Sparta Area Ambulance.
In addition to her clinical experience, Lemanski served as a lead instructor and graduate assistant at UW-La Crosse, teaching anatomy and physiology, physical activity and health-related courses. She has also contributed to undergraduate and graduate research projects examining therapeutic ultrasound treatments and the relationship between music preferences and exercise performance.
Lemanski is a Board of Certification-certified athletic trainer and holds certifications in first aid, CPR, AED and basic life support.
